Metals Used In Our Jewelry
& Components
I realize that some of you out there are allergic to nickel and other metals- but not all of you. As you may have noticed on the news lately, the price of precious metals such as gold and silver have skyrocketed- which brings me to my point: unless you otherwise specify that you must have "pure" metals only in your jewelry, there is a good chance that there will be some nickel or copper content in anything you buy from us. I can easily lay hands on surgical stainless and sterling, gold, etc. components and/or wire to make any of my designs in- but most of the time, I don't have these things on hand, and the price of a piece done in these metals will reflect that difference. And, please bear in mind that some components may not be available (such as bead caps, beads, etc.) in these metals- in those cases, I will be happy to "shop around" with my sources for you, and consult with you about any substitutions that would have to be made. The good news is, anything done in wirework, by hand, can be replicated in any metal- just let me know what your needs are- I'll be happy to work with you!
